About Us

Just Outcomes’ mission is to support communities and organizations in developing just responses to harmful or criminal actions and situations. We work to support leaders and service providers of all kinds in finding realistic and lasting solutions to the justice issues and challenges they face.

With a wide array of experience informing our work, our team members offer expertise in system analysis and design, group facilitation, training and leadership. Working across the globe, we engage with justice-related issues for and within Government agencies, schools and post-secondary institutions, correctional environments, police departments, aboriginal communities, faith communities, non-profit organizations, businesses, youth programs and more.

Examples of our team’s work include:

  • Coordinating and facilitating a community engagement project to develop a youth diversion conferencing program
  • Implementing a district-wide peer mediation program within in a metropolitan British Columbia school system
  • Training staff at a charity organization in collaborative approaches to workplace bullying intervention
  • Assisting a large social service agency in Hong Kong to enhance their service and sensitivity to crime victims
  • Training a group of First Nations school staff, students, community members and justice workers in rural Northern British Columbia in school-based justice and conflict resolution processes
  • Facilitating a multi-day consensus process among criminal justice and community stakeholders in Bermuda on the issue of gang violence
  • Developing and training a Territory-wide, culturally specific model of community justice in collaboration with a Territorial Government in Arctic Canada
  • Providing consultation and training on collaborative processes for dealing with student accountability issues at a Canadian university
  • Designing and implementing First Nations community consultations on crime prevention in coastal British Columbia
  • Training Federal prison staff in informal resolution of inmate discipline issues
  • Chairing a coordinating committee for a regional conference for criminal justice and schools personnel in the NW
  • Designing and facilitating an intensive two-week dialogue retreat for youth involved in an international political conflict
  • Delivering plenary sessions and consulting for judges and key criminal justice decision-makers in Brazil
  • Facilitating coalition-building between multi-disciplinary stakeholders in efforts to collaboratively reach toward common goals
